Introduction
This privacy policy describes how Fremco A/S (“Fremco”, "we" or "us") process personal data about customers, vendors, business partners, visitors to our website and other external persons except for job applicants.

2. Description of processing activities
2.1 Delivery of products
When we deliver physical products to you, we process the following categories of personal data about you:
- Name
- Business contact information, including company name, company address, business telephone number(s) and business e-mail address
- Trading history
Personal data are provided either by yourself or the company, you represent.
We will process your personal data based on the following legal bases:
- Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation, as the processing is necessary for the entering into or performance of a contract with you or the company you represent
- Article 6(1)(c) of the General Data Protection Regulation, as we are required to document trading history in accordance with the Danish rules on bookkeeping
- Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, as the processing is necessary for us to pursue our legitimate interest in handling customer relationships efficiently.
We share your personal information with providers of IT-services, such as hosting of our trading platform, and providers of payment solutions.
We will keep your personal data as long as they are necessary for the purpose or purposes for which they are being processed. As a general rule, transaction data will be kept for 5 years from the end of the year in which the transaction took place (in accordance with the bookkeeping rules), and other information will be kept for 5 years from the end of the year in which you last activity using the platform took place.
However, under special circumstances such periods may be shorter or longer, e.g. if data is necessary for us to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
2.2 Delivery of e-learning services
When you use our e-learning services, we may process the following categories of personal data about you:
- Name
- E-mail address
- Information about which e-learnings, you have participated in, as well as your responses to tests included in these e-learnings and the results of these tests.
We will process your personal data based on the following legal bases:
- Article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation, as the processing is necessary for the entering into or performance of a contract with you or the company you represent
- Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, as the processing is necessary for us to pursue our legitimate interest in ensuring an appropriate level of product knowledge at dealers and customers and to track the training progress at our dealers.
We will keep you personal data until we are notified that you are no longer working with the company through which you had access to the e-learning.
2.3 Process logging
Some of our machines have functionality to log process data, and it is possible for the operator to enter supplementary information to the log. If you are operating one of these machines, we may process the following personal data about you:
- The username you are using to identify yourself when using the machine
- Machine ID
- Company name
- GPS coordinates for the machine at the time when the job is performed
- Time stamp for the log entries
- Comments and other information entered by the operator
The legal basis for the processing of this information is article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, as the processing is necessary for us to pursue our legitimate interest in documenting processes and optimizing equipment settings based on data from completed jobs.
We will keep your personal data for 5 years from the end of the year, in which the log record was created.
2.4 Sending out newsletters
When you sign up to receive our newsletters, we may process the following categories of personal data about you:
- Name
- E-mail address
- Information on the category or categories you belong to (re-seller and/or end-user)
- Your consent to receive newsletters
- Information on withdrawal of consent
The legal basis for processing this information is article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, as the processing is necessary in order for us to pursue our legitimate interest in communicating effectively with our customers and others who have indicated an interest in our company or our products, including targeting our marketing efforts.
We will keep your personal data for two years from the end of the year where either of the following occurs (whatever occurs first):
- You withdraw your consent to receive newsletters from us
- We have not used your information actively to send newsletters for a consecutive 12 months’ period
We may keep the data for a longer period if this is necessary for us to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
2.5 Visitors to our website
In order for us to provide a website that is easy and secure for you to use, we collect information about your use of the website.
The information we collect include information on your IP-address, your preference settings and the use of the website and possibly other websites.
This information is collected through the use of cookies. Please see to the table below for further information on which cookies are utilized on the website, what these cookies are used, who we share the information with, and for and for how long the information is stored.

3. Disclosure of personal data
We may disclose your personal data to service provides supporting our business, including providers of IT systems.
4. Export of personal data to third countries
We process information about customers in a CRM system utilizing Microsoft Azure, meaning that customer information is considered to be transferred to countries in which Microsoft has sub-processors. A list of Microsoft’s sub-processors can be found here.
Newsletters are sent via the service “Mailchimp”. Therefore, personal data about recipients of newsletters is to be considered transferred to USA.
Our e-learning platform is based on Amazon Web Services, meaning that information processed through the e-learning platform is considered to be transferred to countries in which Amazon has sub-processors. You can see a list of Amazon sub service providers and where they are located here.
We have entered into EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the providers of services involving transfer of personal data to countries outside EEA. Furthermore, we have assessed the need for supplementary measures to ensure a level of protection that is essentially equivalent to the level of protection of your personal data, you enjoy within EU, and will implement and maintain such measures where appropriate.
5. Mandatory information
Any information you provide to us is provided on your full discretion. However, if you don’t provide the information requested, it may adversely affect our ability to do business with you.
6. Your rights
You have the following rights:
- You are entitled to request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data.
- You are also entitled to oppose the processing of your personal data and to request restriction of the processing of your personal data.
- You have in particular an unconditional right to oppose the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes.
- If the processing of your personal data is based on your consent, you are entitled to revoke such consent at any time. Revocation of your consent will not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out prior to your revocation of consent.
- You are entitled to receive personal data which you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (data portability
- You can always lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, for example the Danish Data Protection Agency.
Such rights may be subject to conditions or restrictions. Accordingly, there is no certainty that you will be entitled to for example data portability in the specific situation; it will depend on the circumstances of the processing.
